Table Queen winter squash is a green-shelled acorn variety squash.

Table queen weighs about 2-3 pounds when mature and are about seven inches in diameter.

Very prolific bush type acorn squash that will keep your root cellar full.

Like most acorn squash table queen is a fantastic keeper.


Description/Taste

Green acorn squash is medium to large in size 
and has an oval shape lined with deeply furrowed 
ridges that taper to a point opposite of the stem end. 
The smooth skin or rind is light green when young and
 transforms into a deep green with yellow and orange patches when mature. 
The flesh is moist and spongy with a hollow center that contains stringy 
pulp encasing many small, flat, cream-colored seeds. 
When cooked, its yellow-orange flesh becomes 
tender and offers a mildly sweet and nutty flavor with a somewhat dry texture.


Nutritional Value


Green acorn squash is an excellent source of dietary 
fiber and contains vitamin C, vitamin B6, magnesium, manganese, and potassium.
