Orange ESSO Tiger Bicycle Handle Bar Grips Vintage Pair New Schwinn. I bought  a box of these and I used a few sets for bikes I was building. Kind of cool. These are very soft and not hard like some of the others that are selling them. These have been stored in a climate controlled building so they are not hard like others.

This set of bicycle handlebar grips were used as part of the "Put a Tiger in your Tank" promotion used by the Esso Oil Company back in the 1960s to advertise the merits of their gasoline.  Sets of these grips were given out at Esso gas stations after one purchased a certain amount of gas.  These "tiger grips" will make an excellent addition to a collection of Esso or bicycle accessory collectibles.
