عن الكتاب : هذا الكتاب هو مختصر للبحث عن الله، والوصول إليه، وددت لو أنني قرأته قبل رواية عالم صوفي حتى أشعر بالزهو، الجزء الأول في نظري أهم من الثاني بكثير وأمتع، يمشي فيه الشيخ مع تلميذه في حواره حول الفلاسفة من الشرق والغرب يورد أدلتهم وشبهاتهم ويرد عليها ويوضح فهمها

عن الكاتب : هو نديم بن حسين بن محمد بن مصطفى الجسر. ولد بطرابلس عام 1897 لأسرة مصرية الأصل. تلقى علومه الأولى على يد والده الشيخ حسين الجسر الذي كان عالماً مؤسساً للمدرسة الوطنية، ومحرراً في جريدة طرابلس، ثم كفله شقيقه الشيخ محمد الجسر الذي كان نائباً عن المدينة. وكان يعتبر من ابرز رجال السياسة في طرابلس. انهي دراسته في حمص ثم أكملها في بيروت وبعدها التحق بالعمل في سلك القضاء. استدعي إلى الخدمة العسكرية الإجبارية، في الجيش العثماني عام 1916، وخدم في الحجاز والسويس حيث وقع أسيراً بيد القوات الإنجليزية التي سجنته في القاهرة ولم يخرج إلا بعد وساطة من الشريف حسين. عاد إلى طرابلس وعمل كاتباً في سراي المدينة، عام 1922 عينه المفوض السامي كاتباً في المحكمة، ثم رقي إلى رئيس قلم، إلى أن عين قاضياً ثم مدعياً عاماً ثم قائمقاماً لقضاء عكار عام 1931

الموضوع : هذا كتاب في حوار بين الفلسفة والعقيدة وهو قصة طالب يسمى (حيران) طرأ عليه الشك فطرد من جامعته في بيشارو فأرشده أبوه إلى اللحوق بشيخه الموزون الذي يقيم قرب سمرقند في بلدة (خرتنك) التي فيها مقام الإمام البخاري، فلحق بالشيخ ولقيه وشكا إليه ما يجد فأمره أن يشتري دفتراً يدوّن فيه حوار الرحلة الطويلة التي لا بد منها للخروج من الشك فيبدأ الحوار في التعريف بالعلم والفلسفة والفرق بينهما والميتافيزيقيا، ثم يناقش آراء الفلاسفة كالمعلم الأول وفيتاغور وبارمنيدس وديمقريطس وفلاسفة المسلمين كالفارابي وابن سينا والرازي، وعقد فصلاً بين "دارون والجسر" وتكلم في الحظوظ والمصادفة ثم تكلم في الآيات الكونية: السماء والقطاره الإنبيق (الماء) والهواء والنفس البشرية ومساكن الجن... ثم أوصاه وصيته

About The Book : This book is a summary of the search for God and reaching him, and I wish I had read it before the novel of a Sufi world so that I would feel proud, the first part in my opinion is much more important than the second and enjoyable, in which the sheikh walks with his student in his dialogue about the philosophers from the East and the West. Explains their understanding.

About The Writer : He is Nadim bin Hussein bin Muhammad bin Mustafa Al-Jisr. He was born in Tripoli in 1897 to a family of Egyptian origin. He received his first education at the hands of his father, Sheikh Hussein Al-Jisr, who was a founding scholar of the National School and an editor in the Tripoli newspaper, and then he was sponsored by his brother Sheikh Muhammad Al-Jisr, who was a representative of the city. And he was considered one of the most prominent politicians in Tripoli. He finished his studies in Homs, then completed it in Beirut, after which he joined the judiciary. He was summoned to compulsory military service in the Ott army in 1916, and served in the Hijaz and Suez, where he was taken prisoner by the British forces who imprisoned him in Cairo, and he was only released after mediation by Sharif Hussein. He returned to Tripoli and worked as a clerk in the city’s Serail. In 1922, the High Commissioner appointed him a clerk at the court, then was promoted to the head of the Registry, until he was appointed a judge, then a public prosecutor, then a governor of Akkar district in 1931

Subject : This is a book on a dialogue between philosophy and belief, and it is the story of a student called (Hiran) who had doubts, and he was expelled from his university in Peshawar, and his father guided him to join his sheikh, who lived near Samarkand in the town of Khartank, where Imam al-Bukhari is located. So he ordered him to buy a book in which he writes the dialogue of the long journey that is necessary to get out of doubt, so the dialogue begins in introducing science and philosophy, the difference between them, and metaphysics, then discusses the views of philosophers such as the first teacher, Vital, Parmenides, Democritus, and Muslim philosophers such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina and Al-Razi. Concerning fortunes and coincidence, then he spoke in the cosmic verses: the sky, the pipeline (water), the air, the human soul, and the dwellings of the jinn ... Then he was recommended by his will
