She lived a life of injustice and distress, but she possessed the strength of determination, toughness of will, and sagacity, which made her eligible to be the model chosen by the writer to express all human tendencies through it. About The Writer : Charlotte Bront is an English novelist and poet. She is the eldest of the Three Bront Sisters, whose novels are classics of English literature. In January 1831 Charlotte attended school in Row Head at the age of 14, and left the following year to teach her sisters Emily and Anne at home, and then returned to her in 1835 as a nanny.
