Young gangster Fan (Nick Yau) gets sentenced to a youth detention center after a run-in with a police officer. Three days into his imprisonment, he is broken by the brutal physical and mental abuse inflicted on inmates and attempts suicide. After being saved, Fan resolves to endure it all in hopes of getting released early and seeing his sickly grandmother again. In his time at the center, he encounters cruel and demeaning treatment day in and day out, including the mysterious death of an inmate.
