This item is a complete set of 25 standard size Original Trade Cards issued by Lamberts of Norwich in 1959 on the subject of Car Registration Numbers. In the U.K. car registration letters are allocated on a county by county or city basis with the letters of issue being unique to the county issuing them. The cards show the name of the County, the unique registration letters and a picture of a landmark in that particular county or city. Depicted in the set are as follows:- Caernarvonshire, Warwickshire, Isle of Wight, Cumberland, Newcastle on Tyne, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Devon, Norfolk, York, Durham, Hampshire, Worcester, Edinburgh, Somerset, Isle of Man, Blackpool, Chester, Herts, London, Leeds, Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Essex and Kent. Information can be found printed on the backs of the cards.
