The main measuring element of the panel flowmeter is a conical tube with the small end down and the big end up and a conical tube installed vertically and a float that can move up and down inside. When the fluid flows through the conical tube from bottom to top, a pressure difference is generated between the upper and lower sides of the float, and the float rises under the action of this differential pressure. When the force that makes the float rise is equal to the resultant force of gravity, buoyancy and viscous force on the float, the float is in an equilibrium position. Therefore, there is a certain proportional relationship between the fluid flow through the flowmeter and the rising height of the float, that is, with the flow area of the flowmeter, and the position and height of the float can be used as a flow measurement.

How to use
[1] The flowmeter must be installed vertically, and there should be no obvious inclination. The installation height should be convenient for the reading of the float. When reading, the line of sight and the float should be level. (General standard: the optimal flow rate to be used is 50%-70% of the maximum flow rate of the flowmeter, try not to use the highest number. )
[2] In the upstream and downstream inlet and outlet of the instrument, there should be a straight pipe section with 5 times the diameter of the instrument.
[3] The pressure of the fluid on the side of the flowmeter must be stable. If the fluid is too unstable, the float will fluctuate and cannot be measured correctly. A buffer or a valuer should be installed upstream of the flowmeter.
[4] The flowmeter should be installed vertically, and the angle between the centerline of the flowmeter and the plumb line should not exceed 5 degrees.
[5] This product is made of plexiglass and is not suitable for organic solutions and corrosive gases and liquids.
