The Wolfgang WG Standard has many features in common with higher-grade models, and the basswood body has special "comfort cut" contours for maximum playability. Bolt-on baked maple necks and graphite reinforced rods are resistant to temperature and humidity fluctuations, and spoke wheels located on the necktail allow for quick and easy truss rod adjustment. In addition, in pursuit of comfortable playability and speed, the back of the neck with an oil finish, 12-inch to 16-inch compound radius baked maple fingerboard with careful edge treatment, 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays are featured. Dual EVH Wolfgang humbuckers mounted directly on the body convey play nuances directly for rich sustain. The two black speed control knobs are manufactured to Eddie's stoic specifications, and the smooth 500k pot delivers a unique sound while ensuring the high-end stretch of Wolfgang pickups. The EVH brand Floyd Rose special bridge and R2 locking nuts maintain stable tuning even with intense arming.
