Obverse IV 1- Thick raised die break bar from rim horizontally through first left star to neck. Break continues as thin line from right side of neck to hair. Late die states show vertical crack from denticle to first right star with die chip at left of star to form retained cud.
Reverse D2a - Die cracks at top of TATES with displaced field break above TE.
Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle’s left wing and body.
Die marker - Short diagonal die gouge at bottom between two right tail feathers between eagle's legs.
