By 1879, William Robert Humphries had launched a cutlery business in County Cavan in Ireland. Around 1904, he moved to Sheffield, England, and renamed his business Haddon Works. The company continued in various incarnations until the 1960s.

This straight razor, features a 5/8" blade, wood scales crafted from a single piece and brass pins/fittings. Blade spine is straight, edge is chip or nick free, some minor rust on tip front, on the blade near the ricasso and on the tang near the pivot. Blade features the etched coat of arms "The Haddon Brand - Finest Quality Guaranteed" while the tang sports the large, bold "HADDON" mark.  Single-piece wood scales are in good shape, with a tight pivot pin. There is a partial split near the front pin, easily repairable with CA glue.

A nice addition to any collection or grooming rotation.
