ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC 1911 MEDALLION FOR SINGING

A  Royal Academy of Music Medallion for skill at SINGING awarded in 1911 to Edith M Tayler  the medallion is in bronze and has a suspension clasp which  actually can be moved around the rim of the medallion. Not sure if this is by design or  an adaption made by the recipient. The medallion  has a velvet purple ribbon attached again to a  homemade clasp.
A rather interesting piece.

Of interest to collectors of Music related historical items or musicologist.The piece came from the Forest of Dean but i have been unable to identify the recipient
