Selling is a 8" X 10" Vintage Original Semi-Glossy photo with borders of BEBE DANIELS from the late 1910's to the early 1920's.  Bebe is seen here at her personal home in this Candid Pose wearing a unique dress with embroidered and crafted hearts throughout the outfit.  This is an extremely RARE early image of BEBE DANIELS.

On the back of the photo is the name of the actress handwritten lightly in pencil and 2 black ink stamps from the previous owner, "BROWN BROTHERS" (See Scan).

BEBE DANIELS was an American actress, singer, dancer, writer and producer. She began her career in Hollywood during the silent movie era as a child actress, and at 14 she was already a film veteran.  She was enlisted by HAL ROACH to star as HAROLD LLOYD'S leading lady in his "Lonesome Luke" shorts.  HAROLD LLOYD fell hard for BEBE DANIELS and seriously considered marrying her--- but her drive to pursue a film career along with her sense of independence clashed with HAROLD LLOYD 's Victorian definition of a wife.  The two eventually broke up but would remain lifelong friends. BEBE DANIELS was sought out for stardom by CECIL B. DEMILLE, who literally pestered her into signing with Paramount.  Unlike many actors, the arrival of sound posed no problem for her; she had a beautiful singing voice and became a major musical star.

Photo is in VERY GOOD Condition with 2 tiny chips missing in the upper and lower left corners. There is also light edge wear and small creases in the borders and corners.  Otherwise, with the most minimal handling wear.  Great Resolution and Focus.

This is a VINTAGE ORIGINAL PHOTO and NOT a Reproduction Restrike.
