Die neunte Ausgabe der limitierten "Sonnensystem-Serie" der Czech Mint ist dem Uranus gewidmet. Wie auch die Vorgänger-Ausgaben - Sonne (1.), Mond (2.), Erde (3.), Merkur (4.), Venus (5.), Mars (6.), Jupiter (7.) und Saturn (8.) - wurde auch diese Münze mit dem sogenannten "Mondstaub-Effekt" veredelt. Die Bearbeitung erfolgt durch eine Kombination aus Proofing, Sandstrahlen und Laser. Neben dem Uranus sind noch weitere Planeten unseres Sonnensystems mit ihren Umlaufbahnen auf dem Motiv der Silbermünze abgebildet. Komplettiert wird das Design durch die Inschrift "URANUS". Auf der Rückseite ist das Porträt von Königin Elizabeth II abgebildet, eingerahmt durch Umlaufbahnen und Planeten. Uranus ist nach Jupiter und Saturn der drittgrößte Planet unseres Sonnensystems und viermal so groß wie die Erde. Seine Umlaufzeit um die Sonne beträgt 84 Jahre. Der blaue Gasriese erlangte erst Bekanntheit, nachdem er am 13. März 1781 durch William Herschel entdeckt wurde. Er besteht hauptsächlich aus Wasserstoff, Helium und Methan und verfügt nach heutigem Kenntnisstand über insgesamt 27 Monde - die vier bekanntesten seiner Monde heißen Ariel, Umbriel, Titania und Oberon. Die Lieferung der limitierten Uranus Silbermünze in Polierter Platte erfolgt im Originaletui inklusive einem Echtheits-Zertifikat.

The ninth edition of the Czech Mint's limited "Solar System Series" is dedicated to Uranus. Like the previous editions in the series - Sun (1.), Moon (2.), Earth (3.), Mercury (4.), Venus (5.), Mars (6.), Jupiter (7.) and Saturn (8.) - the coin has been refined with the "Lunar dust effect", which is a combination of proofing, sandblasting and laser. Besides Uranus, other planets of our solar system with their orbits are depicted on the motive of the silver coin. The design is completed by the inscription "URANUS". The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, framed by orbits and planets. Uranus is the third largest planet in our solar system after Jupiter and Saturn and four times the size of the Earth. Its orbital period around the sun is 84 years. The blue gas giant first became known after it was discovered by William Herschel on March 13, 1781. It consists mainly of hydrogen, helium and methane and has, according to current knowledge, a total of 27 moons - the four best known of its moons are called Ariel, Umbriel, Titania and Oberon.
