Handmade in the UK by Rainbow Dragon

These hoops are strong and weighty, making them durable and easy to use.

They are made from the highest quality materials with a strong connection. The body is made from 3/4" MDPE polyethylene pipe wrapped with Pro-Gaff cloth & pearlescent colour morphing tape, which provides grip & durability with a stunning glisten in the sun effect.

All measurements are OD (Outside Diameter).

24" and 26" versions of these hoops are available within our shop.

The weight is approx. 300g for a 30" hoop.

These smaller diameter hoops are perfect for toddlers, younger kids, small or advanced hoopers and anyone wanting to learn 'off-body' moves and isolations.

Please select your size and custom colour combination from the drop-down option boxes at the top of this listing.

If you would like your hoop diameter to be an odd number (27", 29"), just order the size above and add a note to your order, stating the size you want. (e.g. If you would like a 27" hoop, order a 28" hoop and add a note stating you actually want a 27" hoop).

If you have any special specs, just let me know.

A quick hoop guide:

The right size! - The larger a hoop is, the slower it will want to spin. If you've tried hooping and believe that you can't, it is likely that the hoop was too small. For a beginner, a hoop diameter equal to the height of your navel is usually a pretty good start. If you think you may find hooping a little difficult to start with, then go up in size a bit... and vice versa. As you progress with your hooping, you will likely want to go down in size and weight: most advanced hoopers use a polypro hoop between 28" and 32".

Polypro or MDPE? - Polypro hoops are lighter and more responsive for tricks, isolations and hoop dance. MDPE Beginner/Dance hoops are more weighty and easier for waist hooping and beginners.

Polypro 5/8" (16mm) vs. 3/4" (20mm) - The 5/8" tubing is much more responsive than 3/4". It flows around the body and is very bouncy - great for breaks, and the like. The 3/4" tubing is more sturdy than 5/8". It is easier to keep up around the waist and is the better bet if you're moving to Polypro from a MDPE hoop.

MDPE 20mm vs. 25mm - The 20mm (Dance) tubing is more bouncy than 25mm. It is kinder to the body and moves around it well. 20mm is usually good for anyone who has hooped a little before, or is confident that they will find starting out reasonably easy. The 25mm (Beginner) tubing is weighty and the easiest to keep moving around the waist. However, 25mm hoops can be rather limiting when it comes to hoop dance.
