CUNARD LINE AQUITANIA VINTAGE PRE-WWI 2ND VOYAGE MAGAZINE AD OCEAN LINER

Here’s an vintage magazine ad from 1914 advertising the Cunarder RMS Aquitania’s immediately post-maiden voyage sailing schedule from NYC in the summer of 1914, replete with the superlative hyperbole of the day.  A few of these trips were actually made, however the outbreak of the First World War saw the ship requisitioned for military service by the British Navy, prompting the cancellation of the advertised trips scheduled for August and September, making this ad a bit of an historical curiosity. This full magazine page, aside from having been folded into quarters (not by me) with the Aquitania ad on the facing side, is in very good condition.
