Dudley Do-Right - Based on the cartoon, this live-action comedy follows the
adventures of Dudley Do-Right (Brendan Fraser), an enthusiastic, if
somewhat dim, Canadian Mountie. When Dudley's childhood crush, Nell
Fenwick (Sarah Jessica Parker), returns to their hometown in the
mountains, he is eager to spend time with her, but
his attempts at courting her are foiled by the villainous Snidely
Whiplash (Alfred Molina), who is up to his usual schemes. Can Dudley win
Nell's heart and curtail Snidely's wicked ways?
Sgt. Bilko - When not trafficking in contraband, Sgt. Bilko (Steve Martin)
oversees his base's gambling operations and occasionally runs a little
con game, all under the oblivious nose of his commanding officer, Col.
Hall (Dan Aykroyd). After Bilko's old nemesis, Maj. Thorn (Phil
Hartman), shows up, intent on ruining his career
and stealing his girlfriend, Rita (Glenne Headly), Bilko must take extra
care to cover his tracks while concocting the perfect scheme to take
down his foe.
Cop And A Half - Young Devon Butler (Norman D. Golden II) lives with his
grandmother, Rachel (Ruby Dee), spending his days obsessing over
television cop shows and his aspirations to be an officer of the law.
When he witnesses a murder committed by a gang led by Vinnie Fountain
(Ray Sharkey), Devon refuses to testify unless he
is offered the chance to be a policeman. To humor him, Devon is paired
up with fiery cop Nick McKenna (Burt Reynolds) for a day as the two
pursue the killers.
Ed - Jack Cooper (Matt LeBlanc) could be a world-class baseball pitcher
if he didn't keep buckling under the pressure. He tries to keep his
spirits up after he's traded to a minor league team but loses all hope
when he discovers that Ed, one of his teammates, is a chimp. Ed used to
be the team mascot, but was promoted to third base
when the owners realized he had a talent for baseball. As Jack struggles
to get used to his new surroundings, Ed helps him regain his confidence
on and off the field.
