Beautiful sterling belt buckle made around mid-century by NYC modernist silversmith and sculptor Paul Lobel. Lobel's work is coveted and collected for his innovative designs and being an early member of the wearable art movement along with the likes of Ed Wiener, Henry Steig, Art Smith, etc. This piece is quite substantial, 2 1/2" long x 1 1/2" top to bottom. Fully signed. In good vintage condition. Check pics as they are part of the description.
