Delivery
At Oak Furniture Town, we offer a free delivery service to the majority of locations throughout the United Kingdom.
The following locations/postcodes may incur a delivery surcharge:
KW, parts of IV, parts of PA, Scottish Offshore Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Ireland, Channel Islands
Our standard free delivery service involves a one man delivery. The driver will most often be able to take the item into your hallway. He may require assistance to take the item into a ground floor room. The driver may be able to take the item upstairs with assistance but this is at the discretion of the driver.
If you definitely need items carrying into a room of choice, we recommend opting for a 2 man delivery service. Please contact us for a quote.
We also offer a white glove service which involves a 2 man delivery taking the items to room of choice, unpacking the items, removing packaging and assembling the items if necessary. Again, please contact us for a quote if you require this service.
We aim to deliver all items within 15-20 working days from the date of purchase even though we do tend to be much quicker. In general, all orders are delivered within 10 working days. In some cases, if the item purchased is out of stock and will not be delivered within the 15-20 working days, we shall contact you and advise accordingly.
The delivery company will contact you directly via telephone or email to arrange a delivery date and time. We advise all customers to provide us with a contact telephone number at the point of order to prevent any delays.
