A great fabric for embroidery too. It is used as a backing for your projects. 

It is 100% cotton/linen. It's very soft and muted colors with a touch of splotch. Matching quarter inch twill tape available.

The pictures don't do this fabric justice. It's a really nice fabric for finishing any of your projects. It is absolutely beautiful.

If using for pillows, cushions, pincushions, etc. Lady Dot would definitely recommend a fusible SHEERWEIGHT interfacing on the backside to give it a tiny bit extra stability - Lady Dot uses it on everything for the stability it provides.
