| Description: |
A hand painted thimble with a gilt rim. This piece has pink blossom on a deep blue background. I believe it is a Limoges thimble as I have seen other pieces of Limoges with the same design and it is signed inside in a similar way.

Signed inside "MC" ( I have seen these initials on other hand painted Limoges pieces) and "Peint Main" (hand painted).

In excellent undamaged condition. The gilt rim has some feint lines where you can see the blue underneath (please see the photographs). |
