BESCHREIBUNG

Prachtvolles, originales Inkunabelblatt aus der großen Bibelausgabe des Nikolaus de Lyra
mit goldgehöhter Schmuckinitiale sowie Buchmalerei mit Goldpunktierung im Blattrand unten.

Es handelt sich um das 1. Blatt des zweiten Bandes der Bibel – „Prologus. Incipit prologus in librum Esdre“.

SATZSPIEGEL 

Zweispaltiger Druck mit Interlinearglossen. 73-zeilig.

Blattgröße: 29,5 x 20 cm, Satzspiegel: 25 x 15,5 cm.

Goldgehöhte Eingangs-Initiale in Blau mit filigranem Rankenwerk in Rot.
Rot eingemalte Initiale sowie Rubrizierungen in Rot.
Im unteren Blattrand mit Buchmalerei in Form von Blattranken und Goldpunktierung. 

ZUSTAND

In guter Erhaltung. Festes Büttenpapier. Blatt gleichmäßig etwas gebräunt.

Kräftiger Druck. Im linken Blattrand verso mit schmalem Papierstreifen verstärkt.

DESCRIPTION
Splendid, original incunabulum leaf from the large Bible of Nicolaus de Lyra
 with gold heightened initial and illumination with gold dots in the lower margin.

This is the 1st leaf from the second volume of this Bible - „Prologus. Incipit prologus in librum Esdre“.

LAYOUT
Double column with interlinear glosses. 73 lines.
Size of the leaf: 29,5 x 20 cm, Layout: 25 x 15,5 cm.
Large gold heightened entrance initial in blue with filigree tendrils in red.
Handpainted initial in red and rubricated in red. In the lower margin illumination and gold dots.

CONDITION
In good condition. Strong handmade paper. Leaf continuous slightly brownish.
Strong print. Left margin verso with narrow strip of paper.
