Alexander The Great, Hercules - Macedonian King - Amphipolis tetradrachm - 336-326 BC - Coin Pendant - 925 Sterling Silver

Alexander the Great lifetime tetradrachm from Amphipolis, Macedonia, c. 336-326 BC As with all of Alexander's imperial tetradrachms the obverse of the above coin depicts a young (beardless) Hercules wearing a lion skin headdress, with the lion's paws tied at his neck. The other side has Zeus Aetophoros - enthroned, holding his sacred symbol, the eagle.
The pendant is crafted with extra care in 925 Sterling Silver. It was made in Greece, diameter size is 24 mm and weighs approximately 9 g. (268)
