c.405-380 BC. Syracuse. On one side galloping quadriga driven by charioteer, holding goad and crowned by flying Nike . On the other side Head of Artemis, hair bound with wreath of corn-leaves.
Meander was the most important symbol in Ancient Greece, symbolizing infinity or the eternal flow of things. It is considered that there is a connection with the Cretan labyrinth – the meander is the figure of a labyrinth in linear form.
It was made in Greece, diameter size is 26mm and weighs approximately 8.5 g.This pendant is without the chain.(1228E)
