100% Merino Wool pre-felt (21 micron). 1 m2 (+/- 5% as this is hand cut). This has been washed, carded and needle felted to give the perfect background for needle felting onto for pictures (it is not as dense as other felts), for wet felting and for 3D work. Also good for nuno felting, cardmaking and a variety of different crafts. It may contain small amounts of vegetable matter such as grass which can be picked up by the sheep. It is 2-3mm thick and the weight is 150 gms per sq metre.
Generally supplied in 1 metre pieces but if you want 2 or more metres in one length please add a note to your order. Please remember if wet felting the work will shrink by about a third in the felting process but you can also needle felt 2 pieces of pre-felt together if you need more than 1 metre in width.
