As a manufacturer, Bosch has no manufacturer-specific repair concept for piezo injectors, no spare parts, no repair tools and no training for professional repairs. The repair of these injectors is carried out as a Diesel Technik Neu-Ulm GmbH repair concept. Our piezo injectors are nevertheless overhauled with original Bosch material, the inner workings are revised using our own concept.

In a nutshell:

The wear on these injectors is based on the "needle seat wear". The nozzle body consists of the nozzle and the nozzle needle, due to the very rapid and numerous up and down movements (especially with piezo injectors) of the nozzle needle, the contact surface on the nozzle body wears out and no longer seals. The result is that dripping then occurs due to the poor sealing. Dripping has many negative consequences:

-          Oil increase due to constant dripping of fuel

-          Soot & stench of unburned diesel

-          hole in the piston

-          Increased consumption & loss of performance because the spray pattern is no longer fine enough
