This is a gorgeous bowl and VERY heavy.  (And believe it or not, I've even DISCOUNTED it by almost $25).

This piece has loads of character.  The wood is OLD mountain Pine and rippled throughout.  It is HEAVY at over FIVE Pounds.    The "style" is the same as the others we carry...but this one is DEEPER.  It's been discounted by $20 because of a flaw you have to really LOOK to find. 

 IT has an old split to the wood.  That sounds awful but it runs at such a weird angle the you really have to search to even find it.  You have to turn the bowl OVER to see it and then hold it up to the light to see the seam.  Honestly, this wood is so thick and heavy that it affects NOTHING.  There's no way it's going to proceed.  And we've waxed and buffed it in so that it blends beautifully with the surrounding patina.  But it's there so we've discounted this bowl all the same.

Measures 21 1/2" Long.   11 3/4" wide and it stands  2 3/4" tall.    Again, this one has GREAT weight at OVER FIVE Pounds!
