Each mug has a brush and paint. These are great to decorate for someone you love, as a craft project for vacation, or just for fun. 

Once you have painted what you like the mug must be baked to harden the paint so they do require adult supervision for that. The paint is food safe so you don't have to worry about a child eating the paint. I took close up pictures of the directions so you can read for yourself to see if this is for you.
