We offer for your consideration this vintage six print portfolio from Colt Patent Firearms.

This is a collection of, First run, Black & White Lithographic prints from the 1940s.

The plate impression is visible on the borders of these prints. The print impressions were made on a textured surface heavy weight paper. The prints are in very good condition, showing little or no yellowing. These prints would look fantastic matted and framed.

There is also include a small pamphlet/brochure with added historical information on each of the firearm models rendered in the prints.

The collection is titled "Colt Historical Prints 1836 -1873"

2.Colt Walker Model        .44 cal - 1847 

3.Colt Wells Fargo Model .31 cal -1848 

4.Colt Navy Model          .36 cal. - 1851 

5.Colt Army Model          .44 cal - 1860 

6.Colt Peacemaker          .45 cal. -1873

This is an excellent set of framable lithographic prints for your collection.

Each print is marked in the lower right corner

"Colt Patent Firearms Mfg Co. Hartford Conn"

A second edition of these prints were issued, but they are clearly marked as such.

The artist signature reads "Stickney" 

Unfortunately we were unable to find any information about the artist who created these wonderful historical prints
