HAND PAINTED BLAZON OF ARMS

ABARBANEL FAMILY OF SPAIN & PORTUGAL

ABARBANEL - SPAIN AND PORTUGAL. Hand painted coat of arms, in red, black, and silver, framed, under glass. I'm guessing 1920s by the frame, but could be earlier or a bit later. Total measurements c.10.5 x 8 inches. Paper backing has printed label explaining the Blazon of Arms for the Abarbanel family, from Isaac Abarbanel (1437-1508). Ink notation that it once belonged to Hannah R. London, descended from Abarbanel-Michleshanski family, maternal side. She married Benjamin M. Siegel, of Brookline, MA. Good condition. The painted wooden frame has wear, paper backing is torn, stained, and frame is a little loose. Please examine the photographs provided to help best assess condition. Thanks.
