~ Be the envy of all of your vintage loving gardening friends with this little number
~ Features a colorful garden shovel or hand trowel
~ Bottom mimics bakelite apple juice - but does not test as such. Bound to be a very close relative (and just as desirable) such as French bakelite, goliath, catalin, lucite, celluloid or similar highly collectible transparent vintage material.
~ Quality construction - attached with double rivets to the hand made wooden handle
~ Hand carved with painted accents
Ready and waiting for your lapel, collection, or gift giving - You will love this!
AGE OR ERA: I am broadly guessing this to be 1920's to 1940's in age - most likely 1930's
MARKINGS: None that I could find
TESTING: Tested negative for bakelite with both the rub and smell and Simichrome methods
MEASUREMENTS: Aprox 3 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide
CONDITION: Great vintage condition - no damage or quirks that I could find to mention. Genuine authentic vintage item with the unique charm and characteristics of pre-loved jewelry in an excellent state of conservation.

Please view & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged. I will try my best to note anything glaring or distracting. Individuals do have varying levels of desire and tolerance for "vintage charm" so do utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all, as they are an integral part and extension of the description.
