Pattern: Dragons and Flaming Pearl

Made in Japan

Decorated with a blue on white dragon transfer print, which was mainly made for export between 1900 and 1945

This cup and saucer can be dated around 1930 (early Showa)

Made from egg porcelain and, although transparent and fragile looking, exceptionally strong

The porcelain is very glossy 

Decoration is a deep cobalt blue pattern with a pair of three clawed dragons fighting over a pearl 

The flaming pearl is known to be a symbol of good luck, prosperity, wisdom and truth

No mark 

Color: Blue and white

Creamer- Approximately 3.25" height
Width 5.5" 

Sugar- 3" height

No chips, cracks or breaks
