A Unique 19th Century French Dagger Commemorating the February 1848 Revolution.

This dagger is in excellent condition and has beautiful casting.

The figure is quiet unique and not one I have seen before, the dagger blade has unfortunately broken off but has a period repair this does not diminish the allure and beauty of this example.

The blade is double edged and still sharp with interesting scroll etching

The scabbard has interesting engravings and designs on it.

A rarely seen example.
