This charming pattern, Country Village by Block China, shows a sweet country scene in various seasons. This auction is for a coffee mug and salad plate with the spring season scene.
The salad plate measures 8 1/8” and shows a majestic country home with the garden in the foreground and a white fence. Colorful trees are in the yard. The outer rim has a narrow red band around the edge.
The coffee mug measures 3 7/8” tall, with a 3” opening. The same scene from the plate is repeated around the mug. It has a green band with narrow red edges and yellow dot flowers above and below the scene and on the handle.
Each piece has the following bottom stamp:

This pattern was produced from 1996 to 1999 and is discontinued. Each piece is in excellent pre-owned condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing that I can see. I have some of the other seasons available in other auctions. You’ll want to check them all out.

Unfortunately, USPS can only monitor international shipments to the point they leave the United States. Priority Express International is the only service that includes a tracking number.
