This exceptional Glenfiddich 21 Year OldGran Reserva is matured and mellowed in American oak casks for 21 years to reach a rich smoothness. It is then finished in hand selected Caribbean rum casks for a further four months maturation, infusing it with indulgent notes of toffee, fig and vanilla sweetness. These complex flavours are enhanced by a spicy warmth, oak and the merest hint of smoke on the palate whilst exquisite and rich aromas of fudge and hints of ripe banana intermingle luxuriously on the nose.

Intense and vanilla sweet, floral, hints of banana, figs, rich toffee, new leather and oak.

Initially soft, then brisk, vibrant and drying, peppery, a touch of smoke, oak, lime, ginger and spices.

Very long, warming, dry and spicy.
