 The twist-off lid needs a quarter turn to tighten and unscrew, hence the name Twist-Off. The lid has a rubber lining which is vinegar and acidic proof. The liner helps prevent leakage, whilst at the same time prolonging the shelf-life of the product within. You’ll find similar lids used throughout your home on your mint sauces, jams and mustard’s etc.
