Fresh from a local estate is this antique patent for a Focusing Film Roll Camera. The correspondence from the patent attorney and the patent document are dated 1916. The patent was awarded to EDGAR U. WRIGHT of Newark New Jersey. The patent measures approx. 12 x 8 and is in overall VG+ to excellent condition with some edge toning to the white paper as you can see. The original folder from the MUNN & CO. PATENT ATTORNEYS office shows wear and some tears as shown but has largely protected the document. There are illustrations of the camera included and a 2 page letter from the patent attorneys. Also included are some photos we are told is Mr Wright and a sports award medal bearing his name as shown. All of the items were stored in a leather satchel (shown & included) and have been protected by the satchel for a long time.
