PAINTING: Oil on canvas. The painting is a beautiful and detailed rendering of the Medici fountains, situated in the Luxembourg gardens in Paris, France. The fountain was originally built in the 17th century, but extensive 19th century modifications gave the fountain its present appearance. Interesting features include the 2 statues on the top of the structure, representing the rivers Rhone and Seine, the Medici coat of arms above the fountain and the 2 masks on either side of the fountain, representing tragedy and comedy. Signed: “J.A.H” in the lower right corner. 

SIZE: With frame: 63 cm/24.8" * 55 cm/21.7". Without frame: 52 cm/20.5" * 44 cm/17.3".

CONDITION: The painting is in great ready-to-hang condition - no holes, tears or missing paint. The frame has minor scratches.
