This potholder is a breakthrough in microwave cooking. The cold food is put in the bowl and then bowl is put in the potholder and then placed in the microwave. When you remove the food, the hot bowl is protected by a potholder already in place and no more tricky removal from the microwave. It will be warm but makes removal of the bowl much easier. Leave the bowl in the potholder for eating too. I used to balance a bowl on a square potholder to eat. With this bowl shaped potholder, the bowl is "wrapped" in the potholder. Made from 100% cotton fabric and cotton batting for a natural, easy way to warm food in the microwave. Fits many size bowls, 18 ounce bowl is shown can also hold a mug. The bowl is not included with the microwavable bowl potholder.
