Description

BMW and Mercedes-Benz electric power steering racks can develop wear and play in the rack. Often this wear is easily corrected by removal and replacement or adjustment of the thrust bushing. This socket is designed to allow the removal and correct fitting of the thrust bushing with the rack in situ on the vehicle.

EPS (Electric Power Steering) 3 pin rack thrust socket with 24mm Hex drive.

BMW applications include: 1 Series (from 2011), 3 Series (from 2012), 4 Series (from 2013), X1 (from 2015), X3 (2010 - 2017)

Mercedes-Benz applications include: C Class (from 2014), S Class (from 2014).

For BMW, use this socket with OEM parts kit 32106891974.
