You are admiring a longtime favorite of mine & collectors worldwide, a (Conus) Darioconus aulicus (Linne, 1758) measuring a very nice 89.5mm & graded F++/Gem...a gorgeous "Cone" form with an incredible color pattern & outstanding "tenting" displayed...an awesome specimen. This beauty was diver collected at 2-3m off Ambon, Maluku, Indonesia. Also known as the "Princely Cone", a wonderful species considered a staple in any Conidae collection...not easy to acquire them today, especially in this large size which really makes it an excellent acquisition.
