It is a fast curing food grade silicone putty, a new silicone compound (platinum catalyst) that is easy to mix and can be manually applied to a variety of surfaces. Silicone putty is mixed in equal volume/weight (1A:1B) and has a pot life of approximately 3 to 15 minutes and a cure time of approximately 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature (73ºF / 23ºC). Low shrinkage vulcanizates are very strong (very high tensile strength), durable and resistant to high temperatures (for casting low temperature molten metal alloys). They also resist healing inhibition. Moldcraft silicone membranes are food grade food grade for cooking. Shore hardness A35
