An early 19th century Derby Cow and Calf group.
A charming piece. It is unusual to have a black and white cow.
The condition is good with nothing major. Some old restoration with repairs to horns, little chips to bocage and flowers, there is a little bit of the enamel which has been overpainted. Some manufacturing flaws common in this type of porcelain - please do explore photos to show condition better.
It is 5.5 inches/14 cm in height.
Date is circa 1835 – 45.
