HAND CARVED & PAINTED WOODEN WEDGE TROPICAL NOVELTY SHOES. My dad was stationed in the Philippines at the end of WWII. We guess that he picked these up for our mother, because we have no other idea how she got them. Found them in the back of the closet in a box. She must have worn them some. These are hand carved wooden base with small hut and a palm tree carved into the wedge heel. It open through the bottom. Hand painted details on the heels and Philippines Embroidered on the red velvet top and straps. The peep toed shoes are in very good worn condition. The wood base is 9” long and about 1” high at the toe and about 3” high at the heel. Extremely rare, try to find them anywhere.
