Mattel Greatest Show on Earth Ad 1971 Hot Wheels Sizzlers Rrrumblers Barbie

Here up for sale is a used Mattel newspaper ad supplement that was inserted into the comic section of newspapers in November of 1971.  It's all in color and features pics and descriptions of Hot Wheels redlines including the Rocket Bye Baby, Strip Teaser, Special Delivery, What-4, Mutt Mobile, Six Shooter, Ice "T", and 5 Heavyweights trucks.  Also features the Rrrumblers motorcycles including the 3-Squealer, Torque Chop, Rip Snorter, High-Tailer, Road Hog, and Mean Machine.  Hot Line trains and Earthshakers vehicles are also shown, plus Hot Birds planes.

Also includes Baby Tender Love, Busy Becky, and Timey Tell dolls.  Barbie dolls featured including PJ, Barbie, Ken, and Christie, plus new costumes for them as well as Francie and Skipper.  Also features Malibu Barbie, Malibu Skipper, the Country Camper, Barbie with Growin' Pretty hair, the Barbie Lively Livin' House, Small Shots dolls, Baby Beans dolls, Drowsy, Tracy & Trish, Roscoe, Toofums, Sassie, and Valerie.  Plus Rock Flowers dolls including Heather, Lilac, Rosemary, and talking dolls including Dr Seuss, Talking Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker, Bozo, Paula Bear, Mother Goose, and Mrs Beasley.

Next featured are Monogram car models including the Super Digger 1/12 dragster, the Goin' Buggy, Ice "T" combo, Dog Catcher, Horn Toad, and Snoopy and his motorcycle.  Plus miscellaneous other toys and games.

Condition is used with some paper yellowing from age and creasing, with a horizonal crease on the covers and pages, wrinkling, plus wear and tears on the corners and edges, and foxing stains on the cover lower half inch, right side, and upper left corner areas.  This is the nicest newspaper insert ad I've heard of from this time period, and I remember vividly as a kid thinking how cool this was when I found one of these in my local newspaper.  Now you can own one too.
