Title:
Old Smoking Pipe
Description:
Presented for your consideration is this neat old smoking pipe. The pipe has a carved wooden base with a cream and black marbled bakelite mouthpiece. The base is carved into the shape of a bull/steer head and is finely detailed to show the hairs of the bull and horns. The head has yellow glass eyes and metal horn tips. The head is completed with a metal nose ring running through the nose that attaches to a chain that holds the ventilated stopper in the top of the pipe. The stopper easily pulls out of the pipe and fits snug in place. There are no markings to indicate a manufacturer. This neat pipe would make a great addition to any smoking/tobacco memorabilia collection!
There is some wear around the mouthpiece and a chip is out of the side of the mouthpiece. Some light wear and staining is on the interior of the pipe from use. Some light bending is around the bottom of the stopper. Typical wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 6 1/4" long, 2 3/4" wide at the widest point and 3" tall.
