I don't know a thing about vintage Seymour Duncan pickups, but from doing a bit of online research, it appears that this may be a very early and desirable pickup. There is no Seymour Duncan logo on the bobbins or baseplate. This pickup was installed with a cover, so there are 4 solder globs on the baseplate. There's a bit of wax or something on the baseplate. There's a bit of crud on the bobbins. I got a reading of 7.59. You may not get the exact same reading.  I guarantee full output. I have heard this pickup, and it works. I don't know if the screws and springs are original.
This is from a very knowledgeable ebayer: "Nice looking pickup you have there. I read your description, and I can confirm that the 'N' on the label stands for 'Neck' pickup. With these older Seymour Duncan pickups that have the red labels, and even up to the early 80's when they first started using the purple labels, these labels did not include a winder's initial. Back then, there was only Seymour and a couple of others winding pickups for them, so initials were not needed. They didn't start adding the winder's initials until maybe a year into the purple labels, and after Seymour hired more winders."
and: "The first Seymour Duncan pickups had an oval label with red ink, followed by the small square label with red ink, such as you have here. The exact dates are hard to determine, but since it has the red ink square label with no stamped baseplate, I'd say this pickup is anywhere from '78 - '80. I think sometime in 1980, or maybe late '79, they switched to the same small square label and started using purple ink. I think you'd be fine listing it as a late 70's pickup."
