Okay, it is a testament to my commitment to be honest about my listings, that I did not rip out this Willow Ridge label. Especially when I discovered they were the sister company of Blair. Good grief. Blair catalog. The bastion of the elderly and staid. What is this really cute and pretty bad ass vest doing with this label? Did someone go rogue? Who were they trying to appeal to?
But I am going to stand by this jacket. I like a 80s crop jacket. They are always fun and youthful. I like the stars embellishment. I like the metal rivets. This is a well made jacket. The pockets work.
In my opinion, this jacket is what I will call a good start. It is calling for your own personality to embroider. Maybe sew on some cool textiles, tapestry or patches. Maybe some fabric paint and shapes.
This is something I love to see in fashion. I love the idea of raw, hand done and unique street wear. I think this vest jacket has got all the right bones.
