The Dodgers pounded the Cubs by a score of 13-6.  Frank Howard and Larry Burright homered for the Dodgers. Maury Wills swiped his 49th base of the season.

George Altman and Ernie Banks homered for the Cubs.  For Ernie, it was the 24th of the season and career #322.
