This is a wonderful work from the John Perry Studio. John Perry is an American sculptor who began offering his works to the public back in the early 1970s. Mr. Perry continues to create beautiful works that are a depiction of the co-inhabitants of our planet and it's oceans, for which he cares deeply about. 

This sculpt is a beautiful rendition of a Sperm Whale done in a off-white cast resin. The whale has been mounted to a beautiful piece of natural Burl-Wood. This work carries the small oval badge That reads "John Perry" over a copyright symbol.

This sculpt is approximately 11 3/8 inches tall, approximately 12 inches wide, and approximately 6 inches front to back. There is some slight discoloration, or faint stains on the whales belly just forward of the base mount point.
