Nolan reinvents the flip-up helmet.
The new N104 model summarizes the innovations that Nolan® has been able to introduce in the segment of full-face flip-up helmets starting with the first and innovative N100 (1998).
Nolan is thus preparing to write a new page of history: N104 is, in fact, a helmet designed by the most demanding motorcyclists, for the most attentive motorcyclist. It was conceived, developed, tested and engineered by a team of specialists who, before being engineers, designers or technicians, are passionate motorcyclists.
N104 is, therefore, the maximum expression of the new and exclusive Nolan® innovations; is synonymous with contemporary and elegant design, with unparalleled driving comfort. 100% Made in Italy, N104 is the flip-up helmet of reference, thanks to the reliability of the Nolan® brand and the obsessive attention to detail.

01 - SHELL
N104 is made in two outer shell sizes (XXS-L / XL-XXXL) and therefore offers very high comfort. The weight and volume of the helmet are contained and proportionate to the rider's size.

02 - ROTATION MOVEMENT OF THE CHIN GUARD
The rotation movement of the chin guard with elliptical trajectory (patented) allows to contain the overall front section of the helmet, when the chin guard is in the open position. Consequently, the "sail" effect is considerably reduced and driving comfort equally guaranteed, even with the chin guard raised.

03 - CHIN GUARD OPENING SYSTEM (DUAL ACTION)
N104 is equipped with the exclusive chin guard opening system DUAL ACTION (patented) which, positioned in the center of the chin guard, allows it to be opened with one hand. The double action mechanism reduces the risk of accidental opening: only after having operated the first release lever (or safe) is it possible to lift the chin guard by acting on the second lever.

04 - "ULTRAWIDE" VISOR
The visor that equips the new N104 ensures maximum driving comfort: its large surface makes it possible to have a greater view, even from the side, thus increasing active safety. It can be easily and quickly removed, without the use of tools, for maintenance and / or replacement operations.

05 - ANTI-FOG VISOR 
N104 is equipped with * a Pinlock® anti-fog visor with silicone profile (FSB).
The unique shape of the visor offers a particularly wide field of vision and excludes interference in the upper part of the visor.

06 - VPS (VISION PROTECTION SYSTEM)
The internal sunscreen that equips the new N104 is easily activated, thanks to the innovative and intuitive drive system (patent pending) which allows the automatic and immediate recall of the screen in the non-use position, simplifying and speeding up the recall maneuver. (for example, at the entrance to a tunnel). Provides S / R (Scratch Resistant - scratch resistant) and F / R (Fog Resistant - resistant to fogging) treatment.

07 - VENTILATION
The upper ventilation takes advantage of the exclusive system  which ensures optimal ventilation where the rider's head needs most, avoiding possible dispersions: the air is, in fact, withdrawn and forced into the most critical areas, in order to guarantee maximum comfort even in extreme driving conditions.
The innovative ventilation system of the new N104 is completed by a chin guard air intake, an air intake positioned in the frontal area and two rear extractors that ensure constant air circulation inside the helmet.

08 - INTERIOR COMFORT PADDING
It is made up of cheek pads, hood, neck roll and removable screen. Easily removable and washable, the internal padding of the new N104 is made of highly breathable, soft and fresh fabrics, able to ensure excellent comfort even on long journeys.
The fabrics used for the manufacture are also subjected to antibacterial treatment. The conformation of the internal padding favors the housing of the glasses.
The reflective insert, positioned in the center of the neck roll, further favors the visibility of the motorcyclist at night, consequently increasing the active safety of the same. The neck roll is easily removable to increase comfort in the warmer months.

09 - NEW MICROLOCK 2 RETENTION SYSTEM
N104 is equipped with the new Microlock2 retention system with micrometric adjustment. The new Microlock2 release (patent pending), as well as the traditional Microlock release (patented) by Nolan, differ from those of the same type on the market today, thanks to the double lever system.
This system consists of an ergonomic opening lever in plastic and a second one, toothed and sealing, in aluminum. The toothed lever releases the micrometric strap and it is therefore possible to open the chin strap only after the opening lever has made a very wide rotation.
An important precaution that reduces the possibility of involuntary opening of the retention system, without compromising ergonomics and ease of use.
With the Microlock2, everything is completed by a significant reduction in the size and weight of the release compared to the Microlock, as well as by a 10-click micrometric strap.

10 - N-COM® PREPARATION
N104 is designed to be equipped with the N-Com® B4 communication system, specially designed for this new model. Furthermore, N104 is approved with the communication system installed and therefore complies with the ECE / ONU 22-05 regulation.

11 - APPROVAL
The new N104 is P / J approved in compliance with current ECE / ONU 22-05 regulations. The P / J homologation allows the motorcyclist to drive the motorcycle both with the chin guard closed and with the chin open, in full compliance with the regulations in force.
